Benefits
Here you will see why RB is a great POD.
- Platform-specific traffic
- They advertise a ton (not you)
- Upload to multiple products
- Sales are fairly consistent
- Payouts can be made through PayPal
- European and North American sales
- Zero inventory
- You can design and sell locally (RB is pretty flexible and diverse with where they ships)

What Do I Earn
You will decide how much you want for your designs.
Example. RB has a base price of say $22.50, now you decide what percentage to add.
The percent is your royalty lets say you make $5.00 that makes the shirt come in at $27.50 so you get your cut at the percent you have chosen after all taxes.
It's pretty sweet.
Payments are fast accurate and fair.

That's Not Good Money
If you can only see one tree I can't help you. Jokes
Breakdown, when you sell it could be (i will do this from a Canadian point of view) in USD or Euro or Pounds.
There you get the exchange rate and its fair (its great for me because my dollar is worth about 2 cents :)
Your design whether it's a tee or sticker or... will keep selling if its good and you have tagged it (KW) properly it is going to sell multiples.
Now you multiply that by a few designs and items and your on to something.
Research
Ok, this is really important stuff. This is what will make or break you.
Because you have to look at what people are buying. Look over listings on the first few pages of Redbubble, those are there because they sell. Usually.
See what colours, fonts, designs, and styles are selling.
- Click on one
- Click the link that says 47 products (Random this can be any number.)
- Click Artists (in the nav bar under design)
- Look at the tags ( those are the KEYWORDS)
You may see if your design is similar ( DO NOT COPY) you can and should copy the related KW`s.
HINT: Stickers do well at 100% (because the payout is low) but again multiples.
Google Image search and Bing are also great tools.

Upload

You are asked to upload to all products, it can be a pain but you get used to it. Enable The ones you want the design on. It's easy just a click on the green enable :s
Do Not put a design you made for t-shirts ( unless its patternable) on a duvet ewww. Ok, you now have figured that by clicking the item you get an edit window, here you center, enlarge decrease if possible, and choose colour .
Go through all the items the design is going on.
Cool Function
There is a really cool function called: Ready :
REPEAT that's right, this is really cool for patterns, I think you see where that could be cool. The pattern goes from 2-3-4, user defined.
Simply hit your desired amount make it SMALLER and bingo perfectly patterned.
Fantastic for duvets, book covers, cell phone cases, skirts to name a few things.
Listing
Now you have done all the editing and tuning of your design to items.
The listing
- Title (Cool Irish Shamrock ) Tee or sticker or just this if multiple items
- Description Cool Irish Shamrock St Patrick`s Day etc (keep it simple)
- Tags Irish, St Patricks, Ireland, ETC ETC these are important, these are the KEYWORDS you are allowed 15 up to 50 use at least 15
- Then you will usually check off Design and Illustration
- Default view ..choose the item you are targeting, as here I want it to be listed and viewed as a sticker
- Check off adult or not
- Check off your right to publish

When your done hit publish then check the listing to make sure you didn't miss disabling anything that you don't intend to design for.
Other Cool Info
If you haven't noticed or haven't signed on yet you should know, you can also sell use photographs, artwork, stories etc anything digital in these areas is good.
These mediums can be set into different items as well, posters, duvets, artboards for a few ideas
You don't have to be a professional to do this art is really in the eye of the beholder.
That can be a poster a photograph, book, poetry anything at all.
I hope this sets you up for a happy and profitable venture into RB POD. It's not complicated but there is no magic bullet either.
Everything takes time, there is no overnight success
If you find you have a passion for this you, or if you are driven, will likely succeed in time.
Have fun and All the Best in your POD ventures
