Publish Multiple Products - Merch By Amazon
Publishing Multiple Shirts-Uploads MBA
Finally after many months of waiting Merch By Amazon has made it possible to publish to multiple shirt styles and market places ( UK and Germany) at the same time.
This is a huge time saver and a very good tool, still in Beta but working really well.
It took a few months for the rollout to come up on my dash but it was worth the wait.
Let's take a look at the tool.
Sorry for the delay in this I got sidetracked with FBA for a month.

The Interface
In the heading of your dash, you will see the usual links. Except now the new CREATE (beta)
From there you will have the choice to publish multiple or single products. Choosing single brings you to the old setup. Giving you the products that are live in your account.
In Multiple you get all products (new ones as well) which is a nice hack if you don't have single tanks etc. You CAN choose just one product.
What Products
The products that are available right away are:
- Reg. Shirts
- Premium Shirts(not auto, you need to check this)
- V-Neck
- Tank-Top
- Long Sleeve
- Raglan (Basically Baseball shirts, white lettering is not the best here)
- Sweat Shirt
- Pull Over Hoodie
Select the product(s) you want and then upload the design. I use just regular 4500x5400 pixel sizes (I'm not doing Hoodies till cold weather)
Choose The Market
If you check the UK and De boxes when picking products you will auto upload to those markets, but only Regular Tees so far and for UK and DE.
Just make sure you edit the prices, etc.
Pretty, much a few clicks then hit review...done!

Upload Artwork
Just hit any of the designs and hit the patch that says upload artwork.
Any of the products you have chosen will now have that (ONE) design uploaded to it.
Its pretty straightforward just use the basic 4500x5400 transparent background .png
Edit
You have to do this for each item up.
Hit edit, choose colours and adjust price as well as the usual Women, Men Youth.
You will find certain products are just for Women or Women and Men.

Slots Fill Fast
This way will certainly fill your slots very quickly with the same design on different product, as well as tees in UK and DE if you choose this option.
Worth a split test to see if that level of saturation will work with different font colours.
Not great for lower Tiers though. I found also that recycling a removed design can work well here ( git a few sales in the past couple of weeks doing this) As long as you think it is worth the second shot on multiple products ;)
More Colour Choices
One of the real pluses here is the colour choices have expanded.
Most other pods offer tons of colour variations, and Merch was really lagging behind on this.
Some of the new products are still limited to a handful, but those colours are pretty well researched I can say.
Though as usual darker colours sell better.
Target One Product
If you don't have tanks etc yet, I'm not sure if they are single products, you can target just ONE product and ONE market place by using multiple listing.
I used a Tank top that wasn't in single products and it went through just fine.
The possibilities are good with this tool.
All in all, I really like this as a time saver and a quick way to list many products with the ability to list on the other two markets as well.
The only drawback (which isn't new)is the single regular Tee in UK and DE, wish we had more choice there.
But the folks at Merch are always working and improving the platform. Im still hopeful that one day this will really come of age and the bumps will slowly smooth out.
The naysayers and Gurus that are coming out of the woodwork will quiet down at that point and stop trying to get into your wallets constantly, get a job ;)
As usual hope, this was a bit of help I'm just sorry I didn't have time sooner to finish this article.
Leave a comment or question and I'll try to answer when possible.
All the very Best
EJ
