Merch By Amazon | A Very Cool Community

The Merch By Amazon Community

I know I go on about being careful, about guru`s and scammers, actually a lot :).

But don't throw a blanket on all of the groups and people involved in the MBA community, there is a lot of the earlier groups,  (MBA isn't that old anyway) are really awesome and helpful.

I am not endorsing or promoting anyone or any groups, there are a few I know I will miss anyway, just pointing out a lot of good resource and content.

These are not typical if at all, gurus.

FaceBook Groups

These are amazing for content and learning, most of the groups I know and am involved with, give as much free advice and information as they sell paid info.

Most of the groups are youngish, compared to this old guy anyway, and have a really wonderful mindset,
I myself am really taken with their friendly outgoing personalities and their entrepreneurial spirit.

Don't get me wrong they are definitely in business, but they are also very human, you don't find that as much in the FBA community or other online communities.

Youtube Videos

Most groups if not all, do youtube videos, as well as live streaming and replays, but also instructional or plain informational vids, are posted.

The amount of helpful info I have gotten is really overwhelming, the MBA community is really a generous one.

You wouldn't have to interact just watch videos, and you will have at the least, the basics you need to start and run a Merch business.

Some Amazing Groups Of Mention

The one that brought me farther into Merch was, well not even a group, but a guy named RJ Martinez.

I watched a video on how to actually list a product on MBA and from there it was a matter of joining his FB group and finding more as I went.

That changed my mindset actually on how I looked at MBA.

The Groups:
  • Merch By Amazon Mastermind ( RJ & Matt ) Really an awesome top-notch group fantastic vids
  • Merch Money ( Helen Kinson, Brianna Moller Greene, Amy Nicholas, Amy Alicia Springer) Awesome Ladies that all have other things going on, great youtube live streams and great info great guests
  • Merch By Amazon (Chris Green) You can't say enough about this guy, he is a true Guru but very down to earth FBA and Merch and a ton of other stuff lots of great content
  • Trademark Watch Dawgs - Stop Frivolous Trademarks ( this group is super important for all POD, get involved and also learn)
I know I missed a couple,

Honorable mention, since it's his Video on the Etsy setup article ;) Matt, sorry Matt I keep forgetting your last name. I`m old.

Matt had a group but I think he just merged with RJ together they are really awesome one of the top groups in my opinion. Very knowledgeable real as well as generous.

Stay Focused

One of the negatives on these groups is something I mentioned in an earlier article is, there are some negativity issues.

The group owners and people in the money are really positive and always try to keep upbeat, but some members are pretty negative, thinking if they throw 10 shirts up they should sell right away.

That's a dream, I also thought that wy at the start, but stayed positive, focused and listened to the people in the know.

I did have mt y down days as we all do, one of the things you have to deal with is the folks who zoom past you with seeming ease, that's tough, but stick with it, listen to how or why they got ahead so fast, spin that positive, it works.

Experience

Remember a lot of people come into MBA with previous online or e-com experience, or are super great at marketing.

Thet might spend money where you cant, or they have really great skills at design.

Possibly even work as tshirt designers or sales, printers etc.

So stay positive, look at what sells and why. You will get better at everything.

That's why we call it to experience right.

To Buy The Services/ Products They Offer Or Not

That's entirely up to you, I will say most of what they sell has value, adds a shortcut and usually is quite inexpensive.

As I mentioned most of these folks are giving a lot more back than they sell.

If I could I would support them all, just as a thank you.

That statement there is self-explanatory if you read other articles like leveraging social media etc.

Although there are a lot of people in anything that is either popular or dying out, that will take your money if you let them.

The folks I mention here are not that.

Spend time watching or listening to youtube pay attention in the groups and ask questions.

Don't be afraid, there will always be ignorant people everywhere that will try to make you feel small, just ignore them, POOF.

If you decide to go, go full on, I'm not saying quit your day job, we all have to eat right, but give it your all, and things will start to turn into good things and better and so on.

All the Best and The very Best in your POD career.

EJ
