App Tips


I thought I would get this up so new folks into the business would have a bit of guidance.

There are a few things you should do and know.

This is all pretty common and can be found anywhere I think but I'm adding it anyway.

Without further ado here we go..


Configure Your App


This is downloadable from the play store for android or from the app store for iPhone.

After you download and do your log on you will need to set your app up.

To do this open your app.

You will be on the sales page by default.  In the top, left corner set your country if your selling on .com or .ca or even .com.mx by tapping the 3 bars a drop-down appears.        



  • Hit the gear to your right
  • Next hit Product search

Preferences

From here you will set up a few preferences.                                         

  • Product condition: New for our needs RA and OA
  • Default Fulfilment Channel: Amazon Fulfilled (FBA)
  • Default Low Price: Use FBA Low Price
  • Shipping To Customer: here I use Cost By Weight  1.00 (dollar) per Kilo CA and  1.25 for the US per pound as we have to ship cross border first.
  • Shipping To Customer: same as above.
  • Cost Of Purchase: Remember
  • Eligibility (hazmat as well): Important this lets you know if you can    sell what you are scanning

  • Prep Requirements: important so you know if there is poly bagging, bubble wrap, etc and if that is worth the profit for you.

The shipping costs will be more than covered as you grow, The more you ship the better the rate. As of now, I'm getting about 50 cents a kilo.


I keep it set at a buck anyway, which gives me a little break for profit.
If set correctly, shipping will not figure in your PL profit/loss.


This is how my settings look, depending on your model they may change.

Make sure to check the last three options

Especially the prep and hazmat settings.
There is a lot more to this little app, but the main focus you will have will be on the seller central interface on your computer. 

From there as you grow there are many things you will do daily and have options of choosing apps to add or help in your business.

Redbubble | Slow Sales

Sales Slow For Redbubble I have been so busy lately that I didn't notice a pretty big drop off in RB sales since Dec. 2018. Although t is pretty common in POD or any other E-com enterprise for big slowdowns to happen, it is my first with Redbubble. Though this could be attributed to many factors it does always make me wonder. POD Catch-UP

I thought I would bang this out for any people that were reading my POD articles. I have been so busy with FBA and other projects plus working full time to write anything. The pod world has changed and I admit I have not had the time to follow the rabbit holes. I am still involved in Merch, Redbubble and Tee Public. Competition in all levels of eCommerce including Amazon Fba and POD is growing, everything is moving online, and more people from around the globe are joining the spree so it's gotten a lot more competitive (and Dirty) out there. 2020 should be an interesting year.
